In case of a group of 4 or more, you might be purposefully allotted different dorm rooms. Further, if the group behaviour is deemed unfit at the property, the Zostel Property Manager, upon subjective evaluation, retains the full right to take required action which may also result in an on-spot cancellation without refunds.- Children below 18 years of age are not permitted entry/stay at any of our hostels, with or without guardians. We do not recommend families.- We only accept a government ID as valid identification proof. No local IDs shall be accepted at the time of check-in.- Guests are not permitted to bring outsiders inside the hostel campus.- We believe in self-help and do not provide luggage assistance or room services.- Drugs and any substance abuse is strictly banned inside and around the property.- Alcohol consumption is permitted at the premises as per the property’s discretion and local laws. Also, the road leading to the property is very steep, hence we advise you to park your vehicle at paid parking spots near Picture Palace. The parking spots are 200 mtr and 500 mtr from the property, and the cost varies depending on the car type. From 4:00 PM to 10:30 PM, no vehicles are allowed on the Mall Road. Parking is available only for private vehicles, which must arrive before 4 PM. (Rented vehicles aren't allowed on the Mall Road and must be parked in the paid parking nearby.) - Bringing or ordering non-vegetarian food is strictly prohibited within the property premises.
We have limited free parking at this property. - The road leading to the property is accessible via approximately 100 meters of a stepped pathway, which includes one sharp turn. - We advise you to park your vehicle at paid parking spots near Picture Palace. The parking spots are 200 mtr and 500 mtr from the property, and cost varies subject to the car type. From 4:00 PM to 10:30 PM, no vehicles are allowed on the Mall Road. Parking is available only for private vehicles, which must arrive before 4 PM. (Rented vehicles aren't allowed on the Mall Road and must be parked in the paid parking nearby.) - All guests are advised to secure their belongings at all times. The property is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal items. - We do not accept card payments, only UPI and cash are accepted. - Right to admission reserved. Note: Reach out to the property to reserve/check for a free parking spot on the day of arrival. Entry to Mall Road is closed for all vehicles from 4:30 PM to 10:30 PM. No rental vehicles are allowed on Mall Road. A note of caution: A driveway leading to the property has a steep downhill section that can be challenging for some guests to navigate. To avoid any accidents, inexperienced drivers and larger vehicles (7-seaters) are advised to avoid it.
-From Delhi: (283 km; 6.5 hr): Drive to the Picture Palace toll gate. Take the second left if coming from Picture Palace bus stand side (Vegetable vendor's road), then drive on that road till the end and take a right you will arrive at Zostel Mussoorie.
-Note: Travellers are advised to park on paid parking, which is 300 m from Zostel Mussoorie (Mall Road) because roads are narrow and steep. (600 INR a day for small cars and for SUVs 800 INR a day, valid until 10 am.) Prices are subjective and may change with the time of the year. Please ask for parking prices before parking your vehicle.
-From Picture Palace Bus Stand: (450 m; 7 min): Walk to Picture Palace toll gate, then take the second left (by the vegetable vendors). Walk till the end of the road, then take a right, and you will reach Zostel Mussoorie (Mall Road).
-From Dehradun ISBT: (38 km; 1.5 hr): Take a taxi directly to Zostel Mussoorie (Mall Road) for ~1800 INR.
-Alternatively, you can take a bus directly to the Picture Palace bus stop at Mall Road for ~80 INR. From here, Walk till the end of the road, then take a right, and you will reach Zostel Mussoorie (Mall Road).
-Also, you can take a shared cab to the Picture Palace bus stop at Mall Road for ~400-500 INR. From here, follow the above directions.
-From Dehradun Railway Station: (35 km; 1.5 hr): Take a taxi straight to Zostel Mussoorie (Mall Road) for ~1600 INR.
-Alternatively, you can take a bus to Picture Palace bus stand for ~80 INR and follow the above directions.
-From Jolly Grant Airport: (61 km; 2 hr): Take a taxi directly to Zostel Mussoorie (Mall Road) for ~2600 INR.
